Explore the World of Possible
The sustainable construction industry is looking for low emission concrete and alternatives for dwindling sand supplies. Angular Materials provides concrete products which improve the mechanical properties of concrete, reduce cracking, reduce process costs, and lower greenhouse gas emissions. They find applications from construction and infrastructure projects to consumers goods and design.
Construction & Infrastructure
Strong and durable concrete with reduced cracking and improved workability ideal for commercial and residential housing as well as infrastructure projects.
House & Gardening
A cost-effective and high-performing alternative to sand in common concrete ideal for accent furniture, fire places, planters, and decorative objects.
Arts & Design
Sustainability is also sought after in design objects and sculptures. Concrete with naturally renewable additives offers superior performance and affordability without compromising on the environment.
Our product uses a proprietary recipe which allows us to utilize smooth sand types and fines from recycled aggregates which are typically considered inferior to construction sand. An all-natural binder holds the sand particles together and allows for easy on-site dispersion into the concrete mix. A real drop-in replacement for river and ocean sand that are dredged at enormous costs to the environment.
This provides a stable supply of concrete in regions where sand scarcity and environmental destruction from dredging are major concerns. Substitution of cement with bio-based cementitious products reduces the carbon footprint of the final concrete product significantly but also enhances performance and workability. From consumer products to construction projects – the applications are limitless.
Angular Materials is a social impact business that aims to reduce the social and environmental harm caused by sand mining. We are doing that by providing innovate construction materials that reduce carbon emissions and leave sensitive marine ecosystems unharmed.
